On December 20th, a reporter’s inquiry revealed that several industrial and commercial changes have taken place in Chifeng wanda plaza Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chifeng Wanda) and Jinjiang wanda plaza Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jinjiang Wanda).
Dalian Wanda Commercial Management Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wanda Commercial Management), the original wholly-owned shareholder of the above two companies, withdrew and a wholly-owned shareholder Kunhua (Tianjin) equity investment partnership (limited partnership) was added (hereinafter referred to as Kunhua Investment).
The penetration of equity shows that the executive partner of Kunhua Investment is CICC Capital Operation Co., Ltd. and the limited partner is New China Life Insurance, and the shareholding ratio of the latter two is 0.1% and 99.9% respectively.
Two wanda plaza business entities were transferred.
An eye survey shows that on December 17th, several industrial and commercial changes occurred in Chifeng Wanda. The wholly-owned shareholder was changed to Kunhua Investment, and the senior managers added Wang Xuan, Zhi Xiaoke, Zhou Chunhao, Zhu Xin, and Hou Hongjun withdrew.
On December 18th, a number of industrial and commercial changes occurred in Jinjiang Wanda. The wholly-owned shareholder was changed to Kunhua Investment, and Dong Jiangao added Wang Xuan, Zhi Xiaoke, Zhou Chunhao and Zhu Xin.
Jinjiang Wanda and Chifeng Wanda were established in October, 2010 and December, 2011, respectively. Before that, they were the main bodies of Wanda Commercial Management in Jinjiang and Chifeng respectively.
Official website, Wanda Commercial Manager, shows that wanda plaza in Jinjiang, Quanzhou is the only wanda plaza in Jinjiang City, which opened in August 2012 with a commercial area of about 202,600 square meters.

There are two wanda plaza in Chifeng, namely, wanda plaza in Chifeng Hongshan and wanda plaza in Chifeng Songshan, which opened in June 2014 and August 2021 respectively, with commercial areas of 171,600 square meters and 126,100 square meters respectively.

According to Wanda Commercial Management, the groundbreaking ceremony of the first wanda plaza in Chifeng City was held in April 2012, with a total investment of about 7 billion yuan, which is the masterpiece of Wanda’s third-generation commercial real estate city complex.

To sum up, Kunhua Investment has been one of the main carriers for New China Life Insurance to take over Wanda’s assets.
An eye survey shows that the original wholly-owned shareholder of Kunhua Investment was Kunyuan Chenxing (Xiamen) Investment Management Consulting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Kunyuan Chenxing), but the latter withdrew in January. Immediately, the shareholders of Kunhua Investment were changed to CICC Capital Operation Co., Ltd. and New China Life Insurance.
On April 11th and July 1st, Kunhua Investment and Kunyuan Chenxing received 100% equity of Beijing wanda plaza Industrial Co., Ltd. and 100% equity of Yantai Zhifu wanda plaza Co., Ltd. respectively.
Since then, Kunyuan Chenxing has not acquired the equity of Wanda’s companies, and Kunhua Investment has successively acquired 100% equity of Nanjing Wanda Mao Investment Co., Ltd., Chengdu Wanda Commercial Plaza Investment Co., Ltd., Jinjiang Wanda, Chifeng Wanda and other companies.
According to statistics, Kunhua Investment has acquired the shares of six Wanda Commercial Management companies, and all of them have achieved holding.
